Hi Team,
If you need more information on the theme of this portal you could go to the link at the top with teachers text written at the bottom to get a couple of ideas on different sections. I also started with some intro text here as well, let me know what you think will appreciate any feedback. --K.O.Brooks 00:05, 4 December 2009 (CET)
Dear colleagues,
I started working on the history part on the portal and by sunday it will be finished. --R.Kowlesar
hey Ritesh, for history just read your definition and i think it can be improved i dont know what you think?i have a definition that social integretion is when minority groups and unprivaledged groups of society are integreted into the mainstream of society the rest of the definition is fine where you have talked about them living well and not minding race, religion differences etc. just thought i would point that out.--M.C.Siwela 18:14, 4 December 2009 (CET)
Dear colleagues,
I'm finished with my part the historical perspective, if any of you has some feedbacks please tell me and feel free to make some necessary edits in my part. --R.Kowlesar 16:29, 6 December 2009 (CET)
Hi R.Kowlesar,
I have read your part on historical perspective and i will refrain from any unecessary comments but i will point some ways to improve your work and make it better. If you follow this link [[1]] you will find what you are expected to do for this task. They say : It is advisable to use headers to separate different periods or developments , be brief and create links to other pages. Since you speak of the last century ( 1900 - current period) i would advise you to make headers with relevant periods ( 1900-1930 ; 1930-1980 ; 1980-2010 ) that will explain the changes that took place in the different societies.
I have corrected some of your spelling mistakes but you must rephrase the text and use a better way of expressing your ideas in english. ( if you have trouble doing that don't hesitate to ask for help)
I hope this feedback helps you make your work better and set an example for the others in the group to follow. Emil--09071415 22:13, 6 December 2009 (CET)
Hey guys,
Ok i will start to edit the futher reading section of this portal. seeing as everthing is almost done and no one has started there. Also i will start to edit the old and new portal for spelling erros and sentance fragmentations, when i am done with the further reading section of this portal.--Ruben 12:59, 7 December 2009 (CET)
Hey guys,
I have a request that we do not use wikipedia.com for external wiki links rather a nother site if possible. comes off as lazyness, try and check the sources they use and direct to that website rather than the wikipedia.com page. just a tip.--Ruben 13:02, 7 December 2009 (CET)
Hey Guys ;
Just did some editing on historical aspect and the Policy practices compared sections please check it out when you get time. Also found a great link with info on the subject from the U.N. check it out if you like. UN info on subject. --Ruben 13:38, 7 December 2009 (CET)
Hey Guys,
All i need to do now is edit the old portal for errors and i think that will be it until the next meeting.--Ruben 14:19, 7 December 2009 (CET)
Hi team, Instead of using the word immigrants in the policy compared section I will use the word migrant and complete the page along with Monique. --K.O.Brooks 15:40, 7 December 2009 (CET)

Hi ,
I have changed the definition part of the portal with what i thought to be a more exact definition. Please read it and give feedback or change it if it seems inappropriate. Emil --09071415 20:24, 7 December 2009 (CET)
Dear colleagues,
I've read the portal and you've done some good work, but I have the following question is there something else that can be done?--R.Kowlesar 21:24, 7 December 2009 (CET)
Hi team, In regards to Kowlesar's question there may be some pages that may need editing in the portal just double check to make sure that all the links are working and they link to complete wiki pages, note that the pages do not have to be completely full but it should have info in at least each section.--K.O.Brooks 11:04, 8 December 2009 (CET)

Hi team ,
both pictures from the portals have been increased so that it could be more visible to the readers. any other problems you might encounter or things you want to be changed but cannot do it yourself , please write it here in the discussion tab and the others will work on it. Emil --09071415 15:13, 10 December 2009 (CET)
Important!!
This is a mail i tried to sent to you but something went wrong(with 2 people's mail) so I decided to post it on the discussion tab.
Dear Colleagues,
Today I was at the meeting with Ms De Sousa and I asked her if there was anything that should be fixed about the portals she said the following:
(This may look a lot but it isnt.)
Social integration: 1). the welcoming text: section should be clarified and there should be a page made about Durkheim. 2). in the news: the capital letters should be changed in to normal letters 3). policy practices compared: section, was to incomplete give real policies from governments instead of general examples. Name more intergration problems besides religion and language. For instance acces to government/legal documents/education/employement. 4). make a new section about social intergration policy in the netherlands. 5). We should look after spelling, grammer and style errors.(ecspecially in the did you know section) 6). in the people's section you must be more selective, with the people because there are to many and mention only necessary info(name, picture, function) don't give entire biography also make wikipages about these people. 7).make all words blue, so if you mention social integration three times in you section don't just make the first "social integration" blue make them all blue. 8). this weeks featured wiki article should be rewritten and the NGO involvement should be clearified.
Multiculturalism: 1).also make welcoming text clearer. 2).also make all the words blue 3).policy practices compared also clearify, and explain examples 4).People section: ms de Sousa asked why is Rita Verdonk also in this section?
I think the best option is if everyone makes the necessary changes to the section he/she was supposed to do. I'll make the wikipage about durkheim and do the welcoming texts.
Yours sincerely,
Ritesh Kowlesar --R.Kowlesar 18:23, 10 December 2009 (CET)
Hey group mates, please can someone help in oploading the pictures on people in the social integration portal, i have edited some info but the pictures need to be oploaded, Rita Verdonk picture in the multicultural portal was requested by me because she is against immigration of foreigners into Holland, therefore i feel she does not encourage a multicultural society but if i am wrong i will like to be corrected with feedback, no man knows it all, .--M.Belloiman 21:25, 10 December 2009 (CET)
Victor please can you try and add something to the people section of both the multicultural and social intergration portal, this section was agreed to be edited by you and i but until now am the one doing the work. Please get back.--M.Belloiman 21:51, 10 December 2009 (CET)
