Definition/short description

Introductory

Legislative consistency is shown in the ability to create new law that is in accord with old law, in the adaption of existing laws without creating mistakes of legal ambiguities or the ability to check current law on incongruities.

Supporting these abilities through digital means can be done through modelling legal text and standardization of the exchange of such text. Examples are Metalex or LKIF.
